Position: Part-Time Accounts Payable
Location: Syosset, New York
Salary: $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
Overview:
David Lerner Associates, Inc., a leading investment company located in Syosset, seeks a detail-oriented, highly motivated accounts payable professional to work 20 hours a week Monday – Thursday.
Requirements:
 Requirements: 2+ years of relevant accounts payable experience, maintain professional image, ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and vendors. Proficiency with using a computer including Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate must be proficient with full cycle accounts payable including: verifying invoices, general ledger coding, posting journal entries, processing check runs, maintaining files and following up on discrepancies, as well as, preparing and updating Excel spreadsheets.

Position: Registered Sales Assistant

Salary: Base Salary + Monthly Commission Bonus

David Lerner Associates a leading investment firm for over 32 years is recruiting for a full-time Registered Sales Assistant for our Princeton, NJ branch. If you enjoy working in the financial services industry, have a strong desire to be part of a successful organization, and enjoy working in a support role then this position may be for you.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience working in a support role at a financial services company
Holds active licenses: Series 7 & 63 or willingness to pass exams within three months of employment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Congenial and friendly interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the administrative work related to account activity such as opening new accounts, processing ACATS, as well as providing optimal customer service to our clients.
